How a Case Moves Through the Douglas County System

Magistrate and Lower Courts

Lawrence traffic arraignments are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 8:00 a.m., and criminal arraignment is Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. A person may plead guilty, not guilty, or no contest at arraignment.
